What is this site about?
This site is for sharing stories, photos, advice, theories, etc. and whatnot about the paranormal in our world. This includes but is not limited to werewolves, vampires, zombies, ghosts, ghouls, strange occurrences and more! There are many skeptics of the paranormal, and if you are one of them, you are still welcome to browse the site. Respecting each other is the name of the game here.
What are the rules?
Rule 1 - Be respectful to each other
Howler Cove is made by enjoyers of the paranormal for enjoyers of the paranormal, and is made to be a friendly community for both the experienced and newbies. Do not insult each other, or get angry at others for not knowing something you know. Just play nice.
Rule 2 - No spam
Creating too many threads in a short amount of time will cause your account to be marked as spam and temporarily disabled. Double posting is also not allowed (e.g. posting the same topic in two different threads within 2 days of the original) and will have both threads and your account temporarily disabled. Off topic threads will be disabled and a warning will be sent to your account.
Rule 3 - NSFW and Illegal Content
Posting content that violates United States and International law will result in it being removed promptly and your account being banned indefinitely. The same goes for NSFW content. What is included in NSFW content is porn, suggestive imagery, human(oid) corpses, etc. What is NOT included under NSFW content is light gore (think a vampire bite or survivable werewolf scratch), animal(ish) corpses, non-suggestive nudity.
Rule 4 - Infraction Buildup
After repeated minor infractions, your account disable may be extended anywhere from a week, a month, a year, to an indefinite ban.
